Nitai Kfir

Nitai Kfir was born and raised in Israel, and began fencing at the age of 8. While in Israel he fenced six consecutive years as a member of the Israeli National Team. He is a two time Israeli National Champion having won the title in 1997, and 1999.

Nitai arrived in New York in 2002 having been recruited by St. John’s University’s fencing program. A 2006 graduate he fenced three consecutive years as a first team All American with Honors at NCAA competitions for the Red Storm.

Nitai has coached foil in New York since 2002, and began coaching at the Fencers Club in 2005.
